Description
Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine is a vaccine for the active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and Haemophilus Influenzae type b. It helps stimulate the immune system to produce high levels of protective antibodies against these serious diseases in babies and young children.
In babies, Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine is injected into the thigh muscles. Whereas, in older children, the injection is given into the arm muscle. This injection is to be administered by your childs doctor only. The first 3 doses of Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine are to be given 4 weeks apart at 6, 10, and 14 weeks of age followed by booster doses given when your child turns 15-18 years. Your childs doctor might prefer rescheduling the vaccine if your child has a more serious illness.
Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as fever, mild crankiness, loss of appetite, tenderness, soreness, redness, and swelling at the injection site. However, these episodes are momentary and subside on their own. If worrisome, do seek the doctor’s help.
Talk to your childs doctor before vaccination if your child has a history of liver problems, kidney problems, blood disorders, birth defects, heart problems, lung problems, severe allergic reactions to any medicine, severe pain or swelling of the limbs, or Guillain-Barré syndrome. You should also consult your doctor before vaccination if your child has ever been in a coma or has had brain or nervous system problems like seizures. This information is important for planning your childs vaccination schedule.
