Description
RABIVAX-S is indicated for the prevention of rabies in children and adults. It can be used before or after exposure, as a primary immunization or as a booster dose.
IMMUNIZATION SCHEDULE
The following schedule should be followed for pre-exposure prophylaxis in high risk populations.
Intramuscular- 1 ml (3 Dose)- Day 0, 7 & 21 or 28
Intradermal- 0.1 ml (3 Dose)- Day 0, 7 & 21 or 28
The following schedule should be followed for post-exposure prophylaxis in previously unimmunized individuals.
Intramuscular- 1 ml (5 Dose)- Day 0, 3, 7, 14 & 28
Intradermal- 0.1 ml (4 Dose)- Day 0, 3, 7 & 28
